- Diesel injection is simpler than gasoline fuel systems, with fewer components to service and less required maintenance. Pre-mixing diesel fuel and air in the prechamber has the effect of slowing the rate of combustion, which tends to reduce audible noise. My husband and I began searching for a new vehicle for him just a few days ago. We saw a few we liked through Viers and stopped in for a test drive.
